The European Education Practitioners Network is pleased to invite you to its inaugural networking seminar. This will take place on the 2nd of June, 2015 in Brussels. Join Humana People to People, VSO and VVOB on the eve of the European Development Days 2015 for the seminar "Live and Learn: Exploring Education in Fragile Contexts".

We will share practical knowledge, lessons learnt and best practices from education projects working in fragile contexts. Discussion topics include resilience building for humanitarian emergency response and keys to successful collaboration with local authorities during and after crisis situations. European Education Practitioners Network

Although rapidly evolving, Europe’s role in international development remains a key component of achieving sustainable development in the post-2015 agenda, particularly in the education sector. Despite this, there is a lack of opportunities for organisations working in this field to share knowledge and experiences or take advantage of possible synergies.

The European Education Practitioners Network is a newly-founded informal coalition of organisations seeking to fill this gap. The initial aim of the network is to organise two knowledge exchange seminars per year. This way we provide a networking space at the European level to share concrete experiences and best practices in the education sector within the development cooperation.

This Network was established through collaboration between Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Humana People to People (HPP) and the Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance (VVOB).
